You Don't Know

No one to turn to
All seems lost
You're trying so hard
But it's at a cost

This suffering exclusion
Why must you be here?
What can you do
To tear down this fear?

You're not much to think about
There are more important things
This journey, this pandemonium
She doesn't seem to know you

You've spent so much time
So much effort
Why can't she see?
Why does it feel like you're alone?

Maybe if you had the chance
To make it alright
To take away the past
Maybe she would see

You've seen a glimpse of what it could be
You've seen a glimpse of what it couldn't be

You've seen the strengths
You've seen the weaknesses
You've seen the hope
And you've seen the disappointment

This heart of yours
It's taken the pain
It's taken the rejection
It's taken the leap

What has it gotten you?
It doesn't seem like much
You keep living in the hope
But what if you just reap disappointment?

Is it worth it?
Is she worth it?
You seem to keep going
After her heart

One thing that you're missing
One thing you're wishing upon
Is that one to sing a song with
That one to search endless with

Do you think she's the one?
