Still searching through endless time
In search of belonging, of being needed
The simple fact is
There's a chance of going this journey
alone
alone
He doesn't see the desperation in his wanders
He can't even feel that it's tearing and ripping
Maybe. . .
Maybe it's just that his heart has taken him captive
What does he have to do?
What has brought him this far?
Nothing should feel the way this does
No one should bear the suffering exclusion
But what is he missing out on?
This isn't fair
There has to be a mistake
Still, what is he missing out on?
Fighting
Pushing
Crawling
. . . and dieing
He's going somewhere
Falling, failing and losing
He's got to get there
He should have a friend to help him make his venture
Not wanting to waver, fall behind, sit down, or quit.
She might help him along
To take his hand beside him
They might be able to make their own song
Maybe they can search endless time together
